For those interested in a more specific and compact format than the Target Training, PLS Seminars are the right choice. We have developed curriculum for some of the most relevant topics in Business English today, including

Our seminars take place over 2 days, with 8 hours of instruction per day. (lunch hour being “small talk hour”).  In this time, we communicate exclusively in the English language...including breaks...to ensure that your complete seminar experience is as rewarding as possible.

Target Group Professionals who wish to improve their general business skills in English in an intensive, full-day seminar.
Objectives To give an overview of the most common forms of business English communication and provide you with the opportunity to learn or refresh your business vocabulary and grammar. 
To identify weaknesses in your spoken and written communication, as well as examine your overall communication style with respect to your individual culture. 
To provide you with basic knowledge of intercultural communication so that you can most effectively deal with international partners and clients.

Objectives To provide you with the structure and language of English presentations, as well as give you the chance to prepare and present an original idea before the class.

Method The first two days will be focused primarily on developing a structure and improving the “flow” of your presentation, and the third day on the non-verbal skills of body language, eye contact and intonation.
Presentations will be video-recorded and reviewed for the purpose of providing constructive criticism.  Participants may purchase their own videos.

Method Working in small groups, participants will be given a case study and will be asked to brainstorm, discuss, and present ideas.  Attention will be placed on using a variety of phrases for each part of the meeting and on the participants’ ability to present his/her thoughts to the group.

Target Group For professionals whose day to day jobs bring them in contact with clients and partners from other cultures. 
Objectives To provide you with a basic understanding of intercultural communication, which enables you to understand and more effectively communicate with your partners around the world.  You will learn about patterns and subconscious “basic assumptions”, and will learn how to calculate these factors into your message.  You will have the opportunity to role play various situations where your theoretical knowledge will be put to use.
